Hello, we are Jad Attari and Samir Hendawi, and this our humanities global awareness project. Our proposal is about aiding the suffering people in Somalia. Education, a meaningful issue in this country, has been severely impacted by external factors that have forced it to stop. The civil war in Somalia is the main factor that causes this 'lack of education' and other deleterious difficulties and dilemmas. We have chosen this topic because we think that if it is not solved, a generation of potential world changers or superstars could be abolished and obsolete. We have appointed education as our subject in virtue of the things it does for us. Fewer people will join terrorist or militant groups like Al-Shabab, fewer pirates that hijack vessels, and of course, education helps us make better decisions. Overall, education leads to great things in life, like a job that makes millions, or critical thinkers who will change the world.
